That's A Wrap
I don't know why I even bother pretending to be interested in knitting sweaters when all I ever want to wear are sleeves.
Yarn: Portrait by Artful Yarns (yay Em!), color 102, approx. 1 and 1/4 skeins
Needles: Denise 11s with the 40" cord (it's all about the Loop, baby)
This was pretty much designed on the fly - - I knew I wanted a bell sleeve, so I cast on 38 stitches, knit in the round for an inch and a half, then decreased 2 stitches every 4 rows over the next 20 rows. The rest of the sleeve was knit in the round up to about an inch from my underarm. I switched to knitting back and forth until it was long enough to cover my shoulders, rejoined and knit the second sleeve in reverse.
Yahtzee!
Neato keen! I love it. I'm always just pulling on sweatshirts on my arms to keep them warm for a sec. I really like the idea of your shrug. Someday, I gotta make one!
