"Christmas Wrapping" and "The Hanukkah Song" looping on iTunes; check.
Chinese restaurant menus on deck for dinner tonight; check.
New camera (thanks, Baker!) tested and ready to go for EXTREMELY LATE e-cards. Or extremely timely, depends on how you look at it.
Holiday shopping/knitting; most of a check. Grandma's getting 1/2 a pair of socks tomorrow & I haven't even started Baker's yet - but technically I have until the end of the next week to finish, so I think I'm OK.
New socks for me - check! (Thanks Jenn!) She's an awesomely talented knitter with the best sense of color. Like so:
Happy colors, happy feet.
She also sent me an absolute stunner of a shawl pin, VERY fortuitous, considering that my next project following all the holiday shtuff is either the Wool Peddler's Shawl from Folk Shawls (some great detail shots of a finished one here) or the Flower Petal Shawl from Elann. February will be the Month of the Red Shawl, mark my words.
Around here, we generally start handing out the gifts a week or two early (Baker and I are both terrible with waiting) but I've held a few in reserve for tomorrow morning. Which the Martian has graciously agreed to document with what is now officially his camera, now that I've upgraded.
Happy 'days to all of y'all. Peace and light. And lots of latkas.
